Help!

Help! Don't understand? Here's a few steps to go through!

  1. Join on up! - If you haven't already, you can join in order to make your own badge.
  2. Pick out some services - Are you on facebook? Youtube? Livejournal? All of these services and more can be added to your badge as badgelets! Simply find the service and give us a little bit of an identifier! For many sites, this will be your user name for that site (don't worry, we'll never ask for any passwords!), but some, such as Facebook are a little more involved and will require you to copy a portion of the URL in order for the badgelet to work for everyone.
  3. Get your badge - When you go to the 'your badge' page, you're given a snippet of code you can put on whichever page you'd like (note that some sites don't allow posting of code - apologies! Nothing we can do about that, unfortunately; though you can post a link to your badge page in the badge's stead!) simply by copy-pasting!
  4. Rinse, repeat, edit as needed! - You can add as many badgelets as you'd like for your presence around the web. Note that there are a few services flagged as 'adult', which means that you can add them to your badge, but only to those who are logged into Badger themselves. You may also edit or delete any of your badges from the 'your badge' page. Editing looks just like adding - you can simply change the identifier you've given - and deleting is just a click away, after a confirmation!
